Non-teaching week

So the last week has been a non-teaching week, but there's still been plenty to work on!
Iv completed my mature draft of my social learner assignment 1b, and published it on my site. My end decision was to go with Netvibes and create a site where my travel buddies and I can look up information for an upcoming holiday to Thailand.
My biggest issue Iv had with this site is not being able to load the widget for the Netvibes wall where I can chat with my added friends in an instant messaging program. Im still in the process of trying to troubleshoot this, there is however other options of putting twitter or skype etc onto my wall to interact that way, but I'm still hoping I'll be able to get the wall!
We've also had the task of doing a peer review this week. This was a great task as it not only gave me the chance to check out a peers website but I also had to really study and understand the rubric for our assignment, which is of course beneficial for me. I've also had my site reviewed, so it was great to have some feedback! Iv been working this week on fixing up the area's that my reviewer said I needed to work on.
Overall I'm starting to feel a lot more confident using social networking sites and technology. There are so many sites and programs out there I didnt even know existed!
