ENDNOTE: EndNote is a brilliant referencing tool, which was used in completing this assignment. The program is designed to aid referencing and bibliographies within assignments. This was my first experience using EndNote, so initially I found it quite difficult to use. Thankfully however, our Living and learning with technology companion website had some fantastic links and tutorials to introduce me to EndNote and teach me how to use it. ASSIGNMENT TWO: Our task for this assignment has been to choose a teaching topic of interest to us and then use different search engines and databases to research how technology might be useful in teaching our subject to students. My chosen topic is Science. The most time consuming part of this assignment has been the researching for different types of references, in order to do this Iv used a range of different research tools, as listed below:
RESEARCH TOOLS: FindIt : Murdoch Universities Library database were you are able to access online documents, ebooks and other articles. I found this very useful when searching for books, as it provides detail of all the books within Murdoch Library and many are displayed as ebooks. Google: A search engine which I used to search for articles and information relevant to my assignment. Google Scholar: Another search engine used which provides scholarly literature on a very broad range of topics. This was useful in the search for journal articles and conference papers.
